House of Hoi Polloi BIO-
1989 Formed in San Diego by Steve Fulton (original Lead Singer and Guitarist) & Steve Hall (original drummer and Lead Singer) (currently Motorflower)
Both writing originals material right away.
Both Steve's were originally in bands in Boise that had recently broke up. Fulton in the Hi-Tops and Hall in the Uninvited.
Hall moved to San Diego after the Uninvited to join Fulton in forming the Group Hoi-Polloi later named House of Hoi-Polloi. They ran into a guy who recognized them from t-shirts they were wearing from Boise who said he knew of both their former bands. His name was Chris Wood formerly of the Smoking Section.
Hoi recorded and release a Cassette 'the Stickman' in San Diego then fully recorded, but never released another full record while on a trip in New Hampshire.
Then moved back to Boise in 1990 found Ned Evett (lead guitar) along with H. Emerson Zachery (Zach) (bass) to form the first Boise version.
In 1992 Hoi-Polloi release their first self titled CD. Only The second CD released by a local Boise group. The first was a compilation called Small Pond.
1993- Craig Tate came on board
1994 - Evett Left the group and Russ Pfeifer came on board as Keyboard, Lead & Backing Vocalist.
1994 - Hoi released an ep CD
1995 - Craig Tate leaves the band Guy Finley on Percussion and Ancel Schoberg on Bass (formerly of Hi-Tops Joined)
1995 - House of Hoi Polloi released 'IT' arguably their most popular CD selling 8000 copies.
1996 - Hall, Schoberg and Finley left the group and Chad Waite & Jason Roark joined the band
There would be no more changes in the band.

1998 - a Million Chamelions
2000 - Live at Hyde Park
Hoi wrote and released nearly 60 songs over the years.
